Back in 2012 we were made redundant from our jobs in the finance industry and made the dramatic decision to sell our worldly belongings to set off to travel the world. We set off with a plan to travel from Jersey to Japan overland then to head into Asia and to see how long we could last. Our first trip lasted for about 4 and a half years so needless to say we found that we quite liked life on the road. We have backpacked, cruised, volunteered, house and pet sat and have seen more amazing places than we even imagined existed.

Long ago we decided that life is too short and with so much world to see we have struck a balance to work for a while and travel for a while and so our next adventure begins.

Our next stop will be Miami where we will hop on a cruise that takes us all the way to Vancouver, where we have just under 6 months to explore Canada. The plan is to buy an RV or a camper van and travel far and wide around the country, to see bears, whales, elk, deer, mountains, Ice-fields and anything else we can find. We will intersperse our travels with house and pet sits if we are lucky enough to stumble upon any and add a few more pets to our world collection of fur babies.
